Hi all,

Just thought I'd keep you updated with my recent IPA queries. As you may be aware my IPA had been set at £260 per month and my first payment was scheduled to start on 21 June. Last month I received a £90 per month increase in my pay and I informed Moon Beever of this change assuming that my monthly IPA would be increased accordingly (boo!). However, I received a letter this morning from them stating that they had been in touch with the OR and re-evaluated the IPA and I will now be required to pay £241 per month rather than the original £260 and this was the original figure before my pay increase. What a result! I am so pleased as I thought they would be raising the amount rather than lowering it. My accompanying grovelling letter may have had something to do with their decision.lol. Still not sure how they go about deciding these things, but in this instance, I'm not complaining. Maybe the OR looked at the original I&E and had a change of heart, thinking they could have been a bit more charitable. To be honest though, I was kind of happy with the original and had no reason to complain about being hard done by.

Anyway, sorry to ramble on. Just wanted to let you know the outcome.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Must say, I'm very chuffed, but I'll stop going on about it now. I think I'll treat myself to something for a chanage.

Sounds good Xmas baby. As you say there do seem to be some strange decisions regarding the IPA payment.
