Going bankrupt on 2nd July, as I've previously posted, I'm in negative equity and have a valuation to show this. My question is, how does the OR decide what my property is worth? Will they accept my valuation?

Posted - 16 June 2009 : 18:49:11 If it is a recent independent valuation then the OR may accept it. They will probably check the prices for similar properties in the area and if they are similar to the valuation that you have then there shouldn't be any reason why the won't accept it.
The only issue you may have is if the valuation is close to meaning there is equity in the property then the OR may want another valuation.
