Posted - 20 June 2009 : 09:12:33 I am about to file for bankruptcy following major debts . My girlfriend and her daughter live with and currently pays the mortgage , but it is in my name. Will the house , which has no equity in it , be taken off me too ??

Posted - 20 June 2009 : 10:50:00 If the house doesn't have any equity then you (or your girlfriend) can buy it back from the OR for a nominal fee of £1 and £211 for fees.
