Good news about second vehicles
Just thought I would make a positive post regarding what cars we have been allowed to keep. Both of our vehicles have been exempted from the bankruptcy, even though I was unemployed at the time of filing. I was allowed to keep mine (value £2500) to look for work, and my wife was allowed to keep hers (value £1000) for essential domestic use. We just had to prove both were insured, MOTd and Taxed. I am having to surrender my motorbike, but fair is fair I guess. I can make an offer to keep it, but we can't afford that at the moment. We both filed for bankruptcy and that might have made the difference. Good news overall. Jonny

It probably did make a difference. If you both need a vehicle for work, then it makes sense to let you both keep a low value one.

Good news though.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
