Hi

Does anyone know where I can find a list of acceptable amounts for living expenses? I'm finding ours hard to compile and would be grateful for guidelines of what is acceptable.

The general guidelines (food, telephone, etc.) are available at www.insolvency.gov.uk/DocumentLibrary/Policy/Excel/Household%20Expenditur.xls (opens in Excel).

Skippy's blog is also worth a look and you can always post your I&E here and we will take a look and advise if you have missed something out, can claim extra, etc.

Hi,

If you read Skippy's blog, she has them down on there.

Otherwise, just put down what you spend and make sure you include everything. Far better to have the OR knock one or two things off, or reduce the allowance than you forget to put it on and then find you can't afford it.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
