Posted - 20 July 2009 : 11:50:13 I would just like to say to anyone out there, its never as bad as you think it will be. I have just had my call with the OR. I was waiting and felt worse than if I was about to have a tooth out. My interview lasted 20 mins. No hard questions. I had previously had an IVA. I had no new debt for the past two and a half years. I was told I probably will have an early discharge, he suggested six months. As my bank account is a restricted accout taken out after the IVA, he said they had no interest in it. He gave me a phone number to get it unfrozen in case it does get frozen. I will receive a form to fill in about my expenses and income, but as I only have a state pension now I dont think they will be asking me to pay anything. To anyone out there about to go through this. please do and be honest.

Posted - 20 July 2009 : 12:39:59 Well done Bennie, I was more nervous about the interview that turning up at the court to declare BR and I know other people are the same.
With trying an IVA before BR it showed that you had made a very good effort to try and get out of your debt problems and this always looks good in the OR's eyes.
With a pension it is unlikely you will have an IPA so it will just be a wait until your are discharged - hopefully early.
