I'm in an IVA and have just upgraded with O2 with no problems at all.

Posted - 24 July 2009 : 09:56:10 Many people continue with their phone contract, but it all depends on the costs - you will only be able to calim a maximum £40 per month for a mobile phone and if your contract is more than that per month it may be better to cancel and have the shortfall under the contract (they will bill you for the remainder of the contract payments)included in the bankruptcy. You will then need to get a pay as you go phone.
If the contract is £40 or under you may as well continue with it, if there is no bankruptcy clause in the contract
