I currently have my home on the market, have just gone on with another estate agent and signed a contract to be with them for a minimum of 12 weeks, can I still file for Bankruptcy now, or will I have to wait until my 12 weeks are over with the estate agent?

Hi Jan,

Its a scary thing to go through, but so many people say they feel relieved once they've filed for BR.

Thank you Suzanne.
My OH is looking to move into private rented, should he do this before the BR?

Many thanks, Sam.

Hi

You can still file for bankruptcy now. If you manage to sell your property privately that is a good thing, you just need to account for any money to the Official Receiver.
