Posted - 28 July 2009 : 08:51:13 I currently have my home on the market, have just gone on with another estate agent and signed a contract to be with them for a minimum of 12 weeks, can I still file for Bankruptcy now, or will I have to wait until my 12 weeks are over with the estate agent? |

Hi Jan,
Its a scary thing to go through, but so many people say they feel relieved once they've filed for BR.

Posted - 28 July 2009 : 10:59:09 Thank you Suzanne. My OH is looking to move into private rented, should he do this before the BR?
Many thanks, Sam.

Posted - 28 July 2009 : 09:05:13 Hi
You can still file for bankruptcy now. If you manage to sell your property privately that is a good thing, you just need to account for any money to the Official Receiver.
