Posted - 30 July 2009 : 14:48:52 Hi can anyone please help,i have just closed down my business due to bad debt.I have one of my creditors taking me to small claim court,i have since found out that he has been over charging me,so i have put in a defence for the debt.I now find myself suffering from stress and depression,i dont feel i can go to court and defend myself due to feeling unwell.What will happen if i dont attend,or can i contact the court and tell them the situation,i am now claiming ESA sickness benefits and dont have any extra income to pay creditors. thanks
