Hello all:

We have two properties - both negative equity though. I went BR - the properties are jointly owned.

We both sent back our expression to the OR that my wife would like to purchase the Beneficial Interest in our principal home and have not heard as yet - is there a time scale for which we can expect a response? Should we approach the OR at this stage (about 3 weeks ago) or should we sit back and be patient? (We have provided a mortgage statement and a local valuation already). On the second home (not at all grand as that is in negative equity too) - I have been told we can do the same with that - I am assuming that again we should wait for the OR to make the first move or should I/we approach their office at an early stage?

any thoughts/comments and experiences shared are welcome

Just so you know though - the OR offices are very, very busy right now - our BI request took 6 months to come through!
