Posted - 05 August 2009 : 16:53:30 Hi my rent is £108.00 per week and I have to pay it weekly. How do you work out how much your rent will be if there is a five week month. I need to know how to work this out so I can put down how much rent I pay a month on my form. Also how much will the OR allow me per month for luch at work, I usually spend between £35.00 a month

Posted - 05 August 2009 : 17:17:27 If you pay rent of 108 a week x it by 52 to give you your yearly amount 108x52=5616
Then divide it by 12 (number of months in year) so
5616/12=468
So put down £468 rent per month. This is if you dont get any free rent weeks.
I put £30 per month down for work meals and this was allowed.
