Posted - 06 August 2009 : 16:21:12 When filing a chapter 13 re-file, can someone be charged over and over again by the same attorney? I have been in a cptr. 13 that is dragging on and on since 2004 and my attorneys said that I would have to do a re-file again and that my payments will be going up again. I don't even know who has been paid and how much has been paid. I can't get anyone to give me information. I cannot afford this and I don't want to lose my home. My car should have been paid for 3 years ago. The attorneys in my case are collecting over 3 thousand dollars from me for the third time. What can I do? It seems that since I filed for bankruptcy things have gotten even more worse than they were.

Good luck.
