Posted - 08 September 2009 : 19:37:03 hi, please can you tell me what happens to your mobile phone contract after br. i heard they cancel it immediately. does this happen if you do not owe the mobile company any money and have never been behind with payment or is it just a standard thing that happens. many thanks for your help . joanne |

Posted - 08 September 2009 : 20:36:27 I think it depends on the phone provider. I was with 3 and never in arrears etc. They suddenly switched me off. I presume it was once the OR had contacted them. The OR asked me for details of the contract even though I owed them nothing and was up-to-date. Without knowing it 3 actually did me a favour. I was in the contract until Dec 2009, they cocked up my voice minutes and said I had used all of them when in fact I had barely made any calls. As they switched me off I have paid them nothing and am rid of the contract. |

Posted - 08 September 2009 : 19:45:09 The contract shouldn't be cancelled if you have kept up to date with the payments. If you are behind on payments and have included this amount in the BR then, I would imagine, the contract would be cancelled. |
