Posted - 13 September 2009 : 14:12:30 both my wife and i are in court tomorrow and have then been informed that we will have a telephone interview with the OR. will both of us have an interview or will the OR be satisfied in just talking to one of us? Does anyone know if the interview is made on a 'speaker phone' so that both of us can hear what the OR is saying? What information will be need for this interview? sorry to ask so many questions - very nervous now!! |

Posted - 13 September 2009 : 14:29:49 you don't normally have your interview there and then, after you have seen the judge, or maybe not, (we did not see the judge, we just collected our stamped bankruptcy orders from the clerk) and were directed to a private room where we had a call from the OR's office, we had to each have a conversation just to confirm our details were correct and bank account numbers, etc. We then went home! It was all done.
In the post, we then each received a pack with forms to sign and send off and were given a telephone interview date for the following week. We both had to be at home on the specified date and time. I answered the phone first and had my interview, the OR went through the SOA, just asking question about the date I took out the credit and was it was used for, hubby went after me, but as most of our debt was joint, he did not have to answer as many questions as me and he was only on the phone for about 5 minutes If you are not sure or cannot remember anything, just say so.
good luck |
