Posted - 16 September 2009 : 13:13:16 After only 4 months of bankruptcy this morning I have received forms to fill in for me to be considered for early discharge.Got a few questions I would be very grateful of help with as it's thrown me into a panic again keep imaging all kinds : 1 as they again want details of my employers, will they contact them. 2 the forms ask for my payment reference number, will this just be my works number as thats the only number I can find on my wageslip. 3 What are the chances of me actualy getting early discharge. I'm now worried that when they look again at my i and e,they might decide to cut them and give me an ipa which I can't afford,I know I'm(hopefully) worring for nothing, but it would be nice to get some reassurance, also as I have not heard anything about nil tax code does this mean I won't get it now. |

Posted - 16 September 2009 : 15:04:07 Hi,
1. No, there shouldn't be any need to contact your employers. 2. Yes, this will be the work's payment reference number. 3. That really depends on whether any of your creditors object to the ED.
I received a form from HMRC asking questions 1 and 2 as the OR/HMRC wanted to check about whether I was entitled to a tax rebate for the last tax yr so these questions may be checking the same for you.
The NT Tax Code needs to be implemented before discharge so it could still be implemented (maybe this is why they asked questions 1 and 2) but it is normally implemented before you are considered for ED. |
