Nil Tax Code, via "moon beever".
Hi all, 4 mths Br
Does the tax money come out from my wages automatically like it did before the Nil Tax code or do I have to physically take it out of my wage and send it to Moon Beever monthly?
My nil tax code has not started yet, Do you only start to pay the money once the tax code has been sorted, as my tax is taken from my wage in the normal way. In other words i don't have to take any money out until the tax code is remedied. as it is taken out from source at the present time as i'm paying normal tax to date.

If they don't get is sorted by the end of the current tax year you won't get an NT code.

hi guys so what happens if u dont get ur nil tax code before next march can they then start it for the whole of next year?my hubby is still waiting for his just wondering if they dont get it sorted before march long way off i no but can they start it a fresh next year ?? |

Hi all,
I went BR early April. IPA started June for 36 months. Did not get nil tax code til August salary and have just arranged 8 monthly payments by standing order to cover August through to March. You will get a letter from the Inland Revenue which I did in July. April I will return to normal tax code. The 8 monthly payments will cease but my normal IPA will continue for the remainder of the 36 months. Hope this gives a rough guide to what you can expect? |

Hi Mick1972a,
I went bankrupt in August and got to pay moon beever £89 a month. Have not got my nil tax code yet.Is it right that a nil tax code only goes up to the end of the tax year? If so, by the time the inland revenue get things sorted, it will probably be January, so moon beever will only get 2 maybe 3 payments off me! |

Yeah its good being able to help even a little. You can get yourself into such a state over little things sometimes and this site has been amazing for me. Just got a letter to fill in yesterday for early discharge so hopefully that will go through ok. Cant believe how well its went for us. Good luck with yours.

Hi Mick, you will stop paying tax when the Inland Rev have contacted your payroll so you will have extra on your pay.
You pay Moonbeaver by Standing order. I hade a letter in June from Inland Rev and am still paying tax now so have not sent anything off to them yet and we went BR end of April.
