Posted - 17 September 2009 : 12:44:04 hi we got our or interview on tuesday at 10.00am. earlier than we were told at br hearing is this normal? we were originally told it would be in 4 weeks time.
also i would really appreciate some info on what he is going to ask? my wife is getting a bit worried.
also i have just had virgin broadband/telephone & tv installed for £25 per month, is he likely to take this of us? my wife works from home therefore needs web access and my daughter needs access for her homework. we did this change from sky & bt to save a massive £57 per month. will this go in our favour?
my wifes car is also an issue, its on a bubble finance arrangement with 12 months left to run she really needs a car for work, school run and nursery, so will they take it off her? (its worth about £3000)
any info would be much appreciated
thanks
tony

The Virgin access should be ok but don't mention the TV. Just say you have Internet and Telephone and that your wife works from home. Even though £25 is cheap the TV isn't necessary so the OR may divide up the price and only allow a portion of the £25 to be claimed.
I am not too sure about the car. £2000 is normally the limit so the OR may want you to downsize but it may depend on how much finance is outstanding.
During the interview the OR will go through the SOA and find out how you got into debt, what each debt was used for, the monthly payment, etc.
