Posted - 20 September 2009 : 12:05:33 i have always payed the morgage from my own earnings and own bank account my husband signed over the title deeds a year ago as i lost my son and did'nt want my husbands son from a previous marrage to have any claim to my house.I have been with my bank for over forty years never been in any debt and a regular saver.My husband set up his own business independant to myself which has gone into voluntary liquidation.I have paperwork to substanciate that he has never contributed to the mortgage.Is my house safe if he has to go bankrupt
