Hi all

A general question not about me, but I have searched the web and cannot find an answer to the following:

If a person holds a personal licence (i.e. a licencee) in the pub trade, can they still hold that licence as an undischarged BR or do they have to surrender that licence during the term of the BR?

Thanks, Richard

I am aware that the pub licence is now split into 2.

There is a personal licence - which seems to be OK in Br as this is authorised by the council.

There is also the premises licence which needs to be surrendered in Br

The CCCS website states that:

If you go bankrupt you will be automatically excluded from some professions...

Member of the Law Society
Estate Agent
Insolvency Practitioner
Stock Broker
Pub Licensee

I don't know though if once you are discharged you can apply to get your licence back.
