Hi guys
I went bankcrupt in Feb this year. I had a call from HM Tax dept to say they still havent got my tax return, I dont know what to do. I explained that I havent got any accounts as the offical reciever has some and the rest where all int he building that my landlord changed the locks and i was not allowed any access to them. They basically said they did not care and they wanted the tax return. I dont know where to turn too. I tried my last account but because I owed him money he said he wouldnt help and had forwarded everything to the IR.
Im also starting college and they need to know my previous years income.
Can someone please help? |

I would still speak to the OR for advice,
The info is for how much to put in for there claim into the BR crossing the t's and dotting the i's

hi guys
The or hasnt geot that much stuff as most was held in our business adress which i believe was all distroyed by the new tennant!
I spoke to the tax office today and they said i needed to give full factual information, and when i explained that i went bankcrupt in feb 09 they said thats not our problem we need your tax records its your responsibility to keep them! aghhhh im sooo scared |

Hi Hair and Beauty
I have had the same problem,
So I asked my OR about this,
If you were made BR in Feb the 08/09 tax return will be from Febuary to April the rest is gone with the BR.
She stated that if they wanted to see the accounts, the Tax man were welcome to come to her office and look at them,
I informed the Taxman, about what was said, and they were happy for an estimate,of earnings before BR,
I would speak to your OR, and see what they say.

hi you should be able to arrange to look at your records and take copies from the OR |
