Posted - 09 October 2009 : 08:58:51 Do the OR count this towards your income as it is a state benefit? My wife only has 3 more months of this payment then it stops? just wondered whether the OR would take the whole amount as for the next 3 months i have a DI of £500 then it stops and then my DI drops to only £6 |

Posted - 09 October 2009 : 12:28:22 Maternity pay is included as part of your income and will be taken into account when calculating whether you have any disposable income. As this ends in three months and your disposable income decreases substantially at the same time, the OR will have to get his skates on if he is to arrange an Income Payments Arrangements. You, of course, will have no disposable income after three months and therefore will not be able to continue to make payments to the OR.
Congratulations on your bankruptcy. You are nwa member ofa growing club.
All the best
