Posted - 09 October 2009 : 17:58:14 Hi, again!
Strating to get a bit panicy now. Im at court on Monday for BR. I today opened a Cashminder account to cover my salary being paid on the 15th and have made a report of this ready to give the OR. I have been with my bank for 15yrs, I have a £2000 OD limit which I have just crept over this week. They have no idea I will be going BR on Monday, should I have informed them, no way of clearing overdraft so have just left it and now worrying a little.... Thanks
Matt

Posted - 09 October 2009 : 19:11:21 There's no need to inform the bank and, tbh, they won't take any notice until they see your name on the Insolvency Register or are contacted by the OR. The same happened with me and Abbey. I stopped using the account about 6-8 weeks before declaring BR and was at the limit of my OD and 5 months after declaring BR they are still sending me statements and adding interest to my OD!?!?!

Posted - 09 October 2009 : 18:22:17 Hi,
Your original bank don't need to be informed by you. The OD will be included in your BR anyway.
Don't worry Matt.

Good luck on Monday im sure you will find it is no where near as bad as you think its going to be.
