Posted - 10 October 2009 : 16:29:39 ave a shop with is not doing well at all we havent been able to afford to pay the buisness rates atall and now cant even afford to buy stock.a few days ago we had balliffs come to our shop and they have given us 1 week to pay a debt of £4000 otherwise they will take the goods from the shop as well as our home.we also have personal loans and debts outstanding.i work bank as i have just had a baby and my husband just started university for nursing.my husbang is a ghanaian but has leave to remain in the uk and i am a british citizen.please advise me as i am in such a mess

There are potentially various options available to you depending on different things Have you assets you don't want to lose or have equity in them Do you want to keep the shop running or have you consigned it to go?
There are experts who post on this forum and they may be able to advise you on specific matters free advice given to help If you have questions you can post them here or ask them directly
Something to remember is that , things may look dark but there is nearly always a way around things and a positive way to follow for the future
