Hi,

I am currently filling out my bankruptcy form and in the section where you have to list your creditors do you put the details and account numbers of the debt collection agencys they have been passed to or the original company that I borrowed the money from, all of my debts have now been passed to debt collection companys. Also what dates do I put in the date incurred section, I really cant remember the exact dates as some of the dbts are vety old?

I have also opened up a co op cashminder account but I am not going to use it until I apply for bankruptcy in January do I need to list this account on the form?

Also has anyone ever been made bankrupt in Croydon County Court?

I didn't put it on my form but the OR knew about it in any case. She wasn't interested as it was in credit (by not much!) but informed Coop anyway. They closed it because it was a current and not a cashminder but were quite happy to transfer it over. Just the inconvenience of it taking about 5 days to sort out.

You will find the general advice here is that you do not have to mention an account if there is no debt. The mistake I made was in opening the wrong type of account in the first place.

qznhln1,

Did you put down your CoOp current account on your SOA?

Did you have to declare this account even though their was no debt?

I wouldn't worry about being to vague on the date, the main point is recording your debts

I opened a new coop current account prior to my BR order, which they then closed down... They did however then open a Cash Minder afterwards. My understanding is that if you have no debt on the account you do not need to mention it to the OR and it will be up to the bank what they do. I would try and open the CashMinder now, probably mentioning your circumstances - they are pretty understanding

i put the account numbers of the original card/account but the contact details of the debt collection co dealing with it now but also mentioned the original company involved.
if you check your credit files they normally have the original date that the debts were incurred.
as regards the coop account i would not list it on the SOA and when you have the phone interview with the OR mention that you have opened a coop cashminder account for use after BR and some take the details others don't
