Posted - 15 October 2009 : 20:25:52 Court today was fine!!
So many people said it would be but I still had the fear of the unknown!!
For everyone on here that is saving fees / waiting for their court date please try not to worry over it.
I arrived at 9am was called in at 9.45 to the clerk who went all through the forms, took my fees and explained that once the district judge has finished his hearing my forms would be signed / stamped. By 10.16 I was bankrupt!!
All the worry really wasnt worth it. Everyone I met at the court was helpful and polite.
Next step OR interview!! Arrrggghhh

Posted - 15 October 2009 : 22:13:27 I know how you both feel, I felt exactly the same as you both do, I was declared bankrupt on 25th Sept and the court part of it was good, I was dreading OR Interview, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!!! As long as you are honest with them and answer their questions to the best of your knowledge it will be fine.
Good luck for tomorrow Panicked Mum and with the new arrival.
Good luck Rachel with your OR Interview.

Posted - 15 October 2009 : 20:56:02 Try not to worry. I know its hard I was a wreck this morning. Especially being 8 and half months pregnant you need to be relaxing!
The court clerk said the OR would be in touch within 7 working days and will definitely post on here how it goes.
I didnt have a lot of creditors my biggest one was 60k shortfall on respossession!
Good luck for tomorrow let me know how it goes. Try not to go into labour!!

Posted - 15 October 2009 : 20:50:18 Well done! glad it was over quickly!
We're in court tomorrow and can't help but be nervous!! I'm 8.5 months pregnant so just keeping my fingers crossed that the stress doesn't send me into labour tomorrow, ha ha!!! Can you imagine their faces in court.
Keep us posted on OR interview, that's what I'm dreading most. Not looked at our debts for a while and when filling out forms this week I couldn't beleive the mess we've got ourselves into! I can't even remember why we've borrowed so much so not sure how we expect to explain to the OR!
