Posted - 24 October 2009 : 14:23:52 Hi I have a bankruptcy meeting in court on Tuesday and I am really worried about it and what will happen, i'm so worried I keep feeling sick. I have about £61 each month left over according to the CCCS F/S but our food on there for the family is really low. My own F/S shows about £15 left over each month. I am about £99000.00. Will I be made bankrupt? Will I have to pay anything back to the O/R? I am so worried about what will happen. |

Posted - 24 October 2009 : 16:20:16 Good luck Dez, I know what you mean about feeling sick, not a nice feeling at all. But if you read the threads on here you will see it is quite a normal reaction. This site has helped me no end, the people are great and really helpful and supportive. I thought it was the end of the world when I was told to go BR, but you soon realise that there are a lot of people in the same postion. |

Posted - 24 October 2009 : 15:28:57 Is a creditor declaring you BR? If this is a BR hearing then you will more than likely be declared BR.
If you are declared BR and you have a DI (Disposable income) of less than £99 per month you will not pay any money to the OR. Once you have been declared BR you will go through your I&E (Income & Expenditure) with the OR during an interview. |
