Hi
Can anyone help me with this question please xx

If I was to Voluntary hand my house back to the Building society in Dec or Jan 10 and my BR is due to finish on 26th Feb 10. What would happen if all the paperwork etc was not finished by the time my BR ended. Does all the transaction have to be completed by the end and would the shortfall (Neg Eq) still be covered if it dragged on past my discharge date

G xxx

There is light at the end of the tunnel, I can actually see it !!!!

Your discharge date has nothing to do with your property, as I understand it you have not bought back the beneficial interest therefore its not your problem. Thev reason the building society have not repossesed is bacause the mortgage payments have been met, when you went bankrupt the family home passed to the OR, you can walk away anytime.
