Posted - 01 November 2009 : 19:55:33 Could someone please advise, i spoke to the child tax credits line the other day and they advised that if i declare myself bankrupt and they impose an IPA, that i need to inform them of this as i may get more tax credits because i am technically not receiving all my income. im not sure what to beleive at the moment but surely if i have a IPA imposed on me and my tax credits go wouldn't i have to pay more into a IPA ???????????????????

Posted - 02 November 2009 : 07:53:35 I would have thought so yes. Remember tax credits work on gross income which would remain the same with or without an IPA.
