im in court on Wednesday 11th. I have given details of all bank accounts. Just thought though I have an Ebay account which i have bought and sold bits and pieces on recently (just unused toys a childrens clothes etc - not a business and only ever gets a couple of quid) Because I have an ebay account I have a Paypal account to take and make payments - do I have to declare this account to them ? Will i be stopped from using it ? Will I be stopped from using Ebay ?

The current balance of the account is £50 but there are payments equal to this pending to go out on christmas presents I have ordered for my son

Is your wife a business seller Richard?

If not, and she's only selling her own bits and pieces I don't see how the OR can say she can only make a certain amount.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

ONK et all

my wife has continued to trade on Ebay and use her paypal account.

The OR has stated that as long as she does not make more than an average of £80 PCM profit, it will not effect her DI and they are not interested

regards Richard P

I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem with this. It's not a bank account as such.

Mine is used for selling old stuff of mine (usually clothes) and then buying from there as well.

You won't be stopped from using Ebay.

I never declared my paypal as there was nothing in it and wouldnt call it a bank as such.
As for £50 in it i wouldnt see the OR being intrested in it but could be wrong
