Posted - 09 November 2009 : 12:52:46 i have just spoken to litigation about handing our mortgaged property keys back and they said we either need to fill in this voluntary form she can send me to make the process quicker or wait for eviction order but then we will still be repsponsible for the house but we have already cancelled home insurance??? doh

Posted - 09 November 2009 : 13:13:05 do not worry and do not sign any forms!!!!!!!!!!! give them the keys back, if they won't take them send them by recorded delivery with no return address If they choose to not take possession of the house when you give it back that is up to them to incur the costs of an eviction order. regardless of responsibility of the house it is in their best interest to make sure it is ok , insurance wise that is
