Posted - 12 November 2009 : 17:25:33 Was made BR yesterday , did have temporary employment through an employment agency. Had an interview and got the job which is permanent but doesnt start until Jan 11th as i have to get enhanced CRB clearance. Im now worried that my car may be at risk as i dont have a job at present , its only worth £1200 but can we justify me needing it when i dont have a current job.
Im going to have to get intouch with the job centre to clain income support and the council for housing benefit until my new job starts. Is this a bad thing or do i just see it as a longer xmas holiday and try to enjoy the break as best i can.
The job i got is an essential car users position so maybe this would safeguard my car ? I wont be able to start the job if they took it away from me.
Would like to know what people think
Thanks Lyndsey xx

Don't worry about the CRB either - it only relates to criminal convictions.
Just tell the OR about your employment and there shouldn't be any problems.
