Posted - 22 November 2009 : 17:02:18 Can anyone please help me? we go BR on Wednesday and I am still unsure how to fill out the SOA form. What it is is this, I receive an employers pension and Incapacity Benefit, my wifes income is totally from benefits. When filling in my SOA, do I just put all our benefits in the benefits box or do I count my wifes benefits as income?
Should I just replicate all the outgoings in both SOA`s and just input the different incomes benefits etc in each of them. This is really getting me down now.
Life`s Tragedy is that we get old too soon and WISE too late!

Posted - 23 November 2009 : 13:55:06 You can put the pension and benefits in section 6.6 and your wife should do the same i.e. section 6.3 for take home pay is £0 as you don't work and then 6.6 for benefits/pension.
Try not to worry about the SOA as you will go through it with the OR during the interview and there is nothing wrong with making a mistake. You sign the form to say that everything is correct 'to the best of your knowledge' so it's no problem if you put something in the wrong box.
