Can anyone please help me? we go BR on Wednesday and I am still unsure how to fill out the SOA form. What it is is this, I receive an employers pension and Incapacity Benefit, my wifes income is totally from benefits. When filling in my SOA, do I just put all our benefits in the benefits box or do I count my wifes benefits as income?

Should I just replicate all the outgoings in both SOA`s and just input the different incomes benefits etc in each of them. This is really getting me down now.

Life`s Tragedy is that we get old too soon
and WISE too late!

You can put the pension and benefits in section 6.6 and your wife should do the same i.e. section 6.3 for take home pay is £0 as you don't work and then 6.6 for benefits/pension.

Try not to worry about the SOA as you will go through it with the OR during the interview and there is nothing wrong with making a mistake. You sign the form to say that everything is correct 'to the best of your knowledge' so it's no problem if you put something in the wrong box.
