Posted - 27 November 2009 : 14:45:12 Afernoon all,
I wonder if anyone could help with this query? I am expecting a one off payment of £100 this month and I wondered if I needed to inform the RTLU of this payment. I am afraid they will want a percentage of it if I do and I would have thought that as its a one off payment and not a permanent increase in pay, they would not be interested.
Can anyone advise on whether I should divulge this information or not?
Thanks

Posted - 30 November 2009 : 16:24:41 Hi all,
Well I did phone the RTLU this morning and they have said they will take 70% of the amount. Great! I know its only £100, but that would have made the difference between having something of a Christmas and none at all. Nice to know they have the christmas spirit alive and well at the RTLU.
At least I can rest easy in the knowledge that I have been honest. Although a lot of good it has done me and as much as it peeves me

Posted - 27 November 2009 : 19:13:19 Hi Xmas baby,
A difficult position/decision.
Is it a bonus from work? In which case it will show on your pay records.
It is a time of the year when every extra penny is valuable - not sure - sorry

others have posted on previous threads that they have contacted their local OR and as it is a one of payment the Or has allowed them to keep the money
good luck
