Posted - 03 December 2009 : 20:38:03 my wife and i were made bankrupt in jan 2009 we had an early discharge in june 2009 my wife as just had a letter from or saying that he intends to apply to the court for release from her case as he as no more interest in her case WHAT DOES THIS MEAN and why do you think i havent had the same letter

Posted - 03 December 2009 : 21:40:12 The OR does 2 jobs, one is investigate conduct. this is what the discharge was about. The other is as trustee of your estate finding and realising assets for the estate. This is what the OR's reease is for when they have completed that job, The OR's release may not come for many years if there are properties or an IPA involved as the OR has not realised all of the assets yet
