Hi, got letter today from Official Receiver that my file will shortly be transferred to the RTLU. Doesnt say any more than that so can anyone tell me what this means? Is it a problem. I went BR 3 months ago.

Hi Mrs roller, RTLU is just a different office in the Insolvency Service, it deals with assets, so IPA's properties etc |

Thanks, I have no idea what it means as the letter seems to assume I know. I was unaware that transferring the case to RTLA may mean discharge in the not too distant future. Im quite happy to wait as long as it takes as I am so much happier now (apart from having to hand over my yearly bonus). Am I right in assuming that once I am discharged whenever that may be that I would be able to keep any future bonus. |

A word of caution - just because your case is passed to the RTLU is doesn't automatically mean ED.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

i transferred to them not long ago and from what i can work out it is good news as i think it means or has basically finished with your case. |
