Posted - 04 January 2010 : 22:49:43 hiya guys, thanks 4 all your advise last time... i've booked my court date to go bankrupt! just a few more queries i have! i opened up a basic barclays bank account, when i decided i was going to bankrupt!i've since set up all my direct debits,wages going in etc to this bank account (my only one now) i did this so when i went bankrupt it was all set up and wont miss any bills! im worrid with the whole account being frozen thing...it will be my pay day 4 days after my court date...what happens with my wages? i have no surplus its all on bills etc so need it all to stay in there! Also im sure some one has said i need 3 copies of my forms...is this right? would it be ok to do one 'master' copy and then just scan this one with my details on?would that be acceptable? thanks again!!any advise would be really appriciated!

Yes, you will need 3 copies of the forms unless you are petitioning at the High Court in which case it is only 1 copy. Scanning the original will be fine.
If you have put the Barclays account details on the form then there is a chance that this 'may' be frozen for a couple of days. You will have a chat with the OR's Assistant later today or maybe early tomorrow to go through a couple of things on the SOA (confirmation of address) so you can mention to them that you need the account to remain open. If it is frozen then it can take up to 5 days to unfreeze so you should contact your bank and see if you can speed things up. They will need confirmation from the OR that they have no interest in the account.
Hopefully the account will not be frozen and everything will go smoothly.
