Hi,
We have our court appointment at the end of this month, just have a couple of questions if you can please help:
1)We have finished completing the forms online, do we print them first or submit them? How many copies do we need to print and do we just print the number of copies required or do we need to print one copy and then photocopy?
2)Also other than the forms and the payment, do we take anything else to the court with us?
3)How soon can we open a cashminder account, should we be setting this up now or waiting until after the court appointment?
4)Oh and one more question, will I get a nil tax for feb and march?

You need 3 copies of the forms and the BR fee and that's it. I thought I would need some ID as well (how do they know you are who you say you are?) so took my passport and driving licence but was never asked for it. |

There is no need to take any pay slips, bank statements, etc. The OR may ask for banks statements and credit agreements during the interview but if you don't have them they will contact the bank/creditors to obtain the necessary copies. |

Hi,
1. You need to submit the forms and then print them. You will need 1 copy if you are petitioning at the High Court in London and 3 copies for other courts.
2. No, just the forms and the BR fee.
3. You can open the Cashminder account whenever you want. It can take up to 10 working days for the account to be opened and for you to receive the details so the sooner the better.
4. Probably not. It normally takes 3 months to set up the Nil Tax code so if you are declaring BR between now and the beginning of April you won't get a Nil Tax code. |
