Posted - 11 January 2010 : 08:33:22 not necessarilly a job but the UK needs to be your centre of main interest for at least 6 months before petitioning here as others have said you would be best advised to speak with Paul Johns from RevivaUK www.revivauk.com

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurman) RevivaUK helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!! |

Posted - 10 January 2010 : 20:41:45 At the moment you wold have to declare bankruptcy in the country you are currently living in. If you were to come back to the uk to live for a substantial period of time then you could further down the road petition for bankruptcy here |

The Government have tightened the time frames and legislation for Over seas peolpe going BR, massive increase in Bankruptcy Tourism.
I would suggest contact Paul @ Reviva he has an overseas division, he is one of the experts that are listed to the left

Posted - 10 January 2010 : 20:00:50 Hi,
If you've been away from the UK for more than three years, I don't think you can declare BR from abroad.
Hopefully one of the experts will be along to advise further.
Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.
