Will the OR class child benefit as income and put it towards an IPA, I also recive wages and tax credits?

Yes, child benefit is now classed as income and can be counted towards an IPA. Having said that the benefit should really be taken up with expenses for your child(ren) i.e. food, clothes, etc. so there may not be any of it left over as disposable income.
