Hi to all.

My wife & I were officially made BR on the 19th, having in the region of £135K of debt which was clearly unmanageable.

Today we have had our interview with the OR who was very pleasent, explaining the procedure for the future and the way forward to us both.

My wife & I now enter into an IPA for the next 3 years paying a total of £351 each month.

As you can imagine we are both relieved and now almost stress free having not to worry about our debts again & how we are going to meet all the payments to our creditors, & being able to afford a decent meal and afford 1 or 2 little luxuiries in life again.

ED we have been advised is about 8 to 9 months away, but more importantly we are now on the road to financial freedom and being able to enjoy life to the full once again.

Can i just say a word of thanks to all who offered us good sound advice and to any person that may be considering this way forward, although it was a tough decision to make and it does come with lots of disadvantagous, going BR was the best choice we have made in order to rebuild our fallen lives once again.

Here's to the future, and thanks you to all.

Bloos.

I'll be sure to hang around and share my experiences as & when i can.
Although not out of the woods just yet, there is certainly light at the end of the tunnel and at last an air of optimism wafting through our abode.

Good post Bloomer, it is always nice to hear that people are now doing much better once the BR process is over.
