Well, just over 6 year's on from my bankruptcy and my files nice and cleaned up, I nervously applied for an Alliance and Leicester Premier current account online. I got an email to say it had been successful In 2008 I applied to both LTSB and Abbey for their basic accounts and got declined.
To be honest the 6 years went pretty fast,I've still got all my court papers! Going to keep them

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

35 IPA payments made, 1 to go - 4 days and counting!

yes but skippy you have less than 144 Hrs of your IPA or if you want to be really analytic 8600 minutes to go. then you can start playing the chanel 4 countdown theme.

I still have not had my IPA finalised so i still have 1.6 million minutes.

nearly done wd

It's flown past for me, although I have to say the last few months of my IPA seem to be going slowly!

I've been lucky as I have pre BR full Nationwide Flexaccount that I've started using again - I phoned them and asked for a card so that I could use it again and much to my surprise they sent a full debit card and chequebook!

I'm probably going to keep all my paperwork, although I think it'll be moved from the living room to the shed when I make my final IPA payment!

Thanks Skippy, it does feel a little strange though, getting approved for a full bank account again! My friend went bankrupt and she said it's half way through and feels it has gone fast. I find this forum very supportive and a great support to anyone thinking of bankruptcy or declared bankrupt.
