Posted - 31 January 2010 : 11:15:29 That will be fine. A lot of people who are declaring BR do similar things so there shouldn't be any problems with using the OD for the bond/rent. |

Posted - 31 January 2010 : 10:43:49 The number for the Co-op is 0845 602 7057 and you can give them a call on this number to open an account.
If you are planning to declare BR then you should really stop using the other bank account. If you need to use all of the OD to buy food, pay bills, etc. then this is ok. If you going to max the OD out just because you want the money then this will be frowned upon as you will be taking this money with no intention of pay it back. |

Posted - 31 January 2010 : 09:39:48 Any non-basic accounts will be frozen once you declare BR but you can open a Co-op Cashminder account and have your benefits paid into this account. The Co-op is very BR friendly and you can open the account over the phone. |
