Posted - 11 February 2010 : 18:54:39 MY BOYFRIENDS NAME WENT ON THE MORTGAGE ONLY TWO YEARS AGO AND THE MORTGAGE HAS BEEN GOING FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS WHICH I HAVE PAID. MY BOYFRIEND NOW SAYS HE CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY THE MORTGAGE AND IS GOING TO DECLARE BANKRUPTCY BUT I WAS PAYING THE MORTGAGE. WILL THE COURT STILL FORCE THE SALE?

Posted - 11 February 2010 : 19:49:14 hi and welcome to the forum it is possible that the OR will percieve that your boyfriend has some interest in the property if he has only paid for 2 yrs it is not likely to be half but a percentage less than half is there anyequity in the property? if there isn't then your boyfriends BI should be able to be bought from the OR for £1 and £210 costs
