Posted - 14 January 2012 : 19:41:17 You need to put down the full household expenditure on both petitions.
Yes, put in an emergency fund of £10 per person in the household.

Posted - 14 January 2012 : 19:32:45 sorry one more thing whats the best way to write it down as all my bills are joint with my wife and all our money goes into one account so its more our bills than my bills. is it just a case of halfing the bills 50-50 even though she works part time and im full time so bring in more money than she does? and do you need to budget in for emergencies i.e car goes bang or sickness as i do not get sick pay? i know it was 2 questions but just came to me. i would just like to say your help so far has been brill and has put our minds a rest thank you. |

2. You need to put down absolutely everything you spend, even if you think they won't allow it. Make a list of everything you have to pay weekly, monthly and annually.
I'm sorry about your father-in-law, there is no reason for them to be involved or affected by your bankruptcy.

Posted - 14 January 2012 : 16:03:40 thanks for your kind words. i do have a few questions about budgets. 1. my wife and i gave our house back to our mortgage lender and moved in with our inlaws. we pay £550 rent that includes food and all bills but doesn't include things for our 16 month old daughter. will i need to write down in detail what the rent covers? 2. what sort of things do we need to budget for? is there a link you know of that can give a rough idea? i know these may sound like silly questions but my father-in-law has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer and i dont want them dragged into our problems too much. again thanks for your time and input fly1 |
