Posted - 17 December 2009 : 21:36:34 Dear all
Thank you all for your support over the last few months.
I have been planning my BR for the last XYZ months and tommorrow is my day, Yippppeeeeeeee, sorry this sounds rude to my creditors, i have done what i can to repay you but i can only hit my head against the wall so many times to try and communicate with you.
I am not nervous at the moment just eager to get on and start the rest of my life
I had my last debt collector visit on tuesday (nope he didnot find me in the house and did not have a warrant) but left a nice menacing letter
My last phone call was tonight from one of halifax's hound dogs, i actually passed one of the credit checks just to tell them... Me Joining the bank ruptcy gang in the morning.
My local court has a 6 week waiting list to go BR, i said that i would take a cancellation and could come in at short notice, they contacted me on tuesday
thank you to Paul and Ken at Reviva for helping with all of my phone calls and what if scenarios.
Ill still be around posting and hopefully sharing my experiences with others who unfortuantly find themselves in similar situation
Ill let you all know how i get on
kindest regards Richard |

Posted - 18 December 2009 : 13:33:02 LOCAL COURT 296/09 at your service
only applicant today, 5 mins speaking to clerk
then had to wait outside the court, the whole day had been set aside for local authority housing evictions, Banks and Mortgages getting orders etc.
saw about 6 people I knew in and around the court building.
had to see District Judge spent about 5 mins in front of him.. then at 11.14 he signed the order. All in all about 2 hours at court
Bit of an anti climax but at least i can now plan my future and LEARN from errors.
good luck in 2010 to all
regards Richard
