Posted - 25 June 2007 : 15:06:11 my son was declared BR 22 june has a meeting with office on 27th june. I have not slept over the last few nights, because on the 20th june I gave him a post office book which he had forgotten he had it had £400 in it. I told him to cash the money in so he could pay the court costs. Unfortunatley the post office requires 28 days so he filled and completed the form to close account on that day. I have loaned him the money for the court on the understanding that this cheque will be given to me. Now I am exceedingly worried that if he does not declare this money he will be in trouble with the court. will he have to tell the officer on the 27th of this money? and if he doesn't what could happen. he seems to think because he's closed the account and signed the form before going to court this money would not be included. he hasn't got any money at all as he lost his job and is on income support. Please someone reply asap
