Posted - 09 July 2007 : 11:57:43 Im thinking about going bankrupt after losing my job 12 months into my IVA, the IVA didnt leave me with enough money to live and now its worse that im unemployed. Is there any help i can get with paying bankruptcy fees as im currently in the process of claiming job seekers allowance? Also do you still have to pay monthly contributions whilst being bankrupt, i dont quite understand it. HELP!!!

Posted - 18 July 2007 : 23:26:28 Hi have a look at the Govt insolvency site , I thimk that you can get the court fees dropped . You may have to pay some money for up to 3 years - but it depends on how much surplus you have after your income & expenditure is calculated .. not a lot on benefit I guess
