Do i need to just send in my info on my bankruptcy and they will do the work or will i need to chase everything, the problem is becuase it was nearly three years ago i have desposed all my paper work instead of the letter about my descharged, please help, thanks so much.

Agree with DD but would that add that even if the debt was not declared I think it is still covered by the bankruptcy.

If you have no documentation to prove you were made bankrupt you may have some difficulty getting the creditor off your back even though as DD says there is nothing they can legally do.

Your best bet might be to contact the Court that originally dealt with the BR and see if you can get a copy of the Bankruptcy Order. Then get a few copies made and send a copy back to the creditor with all the bumf they originally sent you. Personally I wouldn't even include a letter the first time. That ususally does the trick but it's amazing how often this happens.

You are correct. You have paid for your financial debt 3 years ago in May 2004. Send them a photocopy of your discharge documentation. As long as they were listed in the bankruptcy application you owe them zero. If they persist contact the CAB. What that creditor is doing is illegal. They have NO legal position. Please do not allow them to worry you.

Please continue to post so we can read how it transpires.

Take care and do not fear.
