Posted - 24 February 2007 : 12:08:02 Thank you admin for listening to our concerns. It's nice to know in this day and age with consumer indebtedness rising that there is a place where people can get financial assistance and some spiritiual healing or support.
Many a time people will share financial/debt information with strangers on a forum before they inform friends and family. A bankruptcy is a special type of financial solution because of the stigma many may feel before,during and after the bankruptcy. Also, we are losing our possessions which can make us feel like 'losers'.
Word up (as my teenager says) for those of you who think we are less than human coming to this forum to judge. Judge a person by the content of their character, NOT the contents of their wallets. We have sought every financial tool to pay back our creditors. Some of us are declared bankrupt because of illness, redundancy, divorce and yes, spiralling debt; and failed IVAs.
Here we do not stigmatise. Here we do not judge. We are here to give sound professional advice and to spiritually edify one another. We do not tear down one's self-esteem or degrade one's self-worth.
Again, thank you admin for a much needed internet service.
